Check in on your competitor’s strategies

site’s  age has  an  influence on that site’s ranking. A site that has been around for a long time can be seen as more reputable. Plus, it gives Google a background in determining a site’s trustworthiness. Basically, site age lets Google know your site is legit. Don't  commit  the cardinal  sin  of letting dots ruin your page descriptions Recognizing  intent  will allow  you  to improve keyword selection decisions and better serve your target audience. When  we  talk about  visibility,  we mean how high up the SERP your website appears for certain search terms in the ‘organic’ results. Organic results refer to those that appear naturally on the page, rather than in the paid-for sections. Sometimes  knowing  why you’re  doing  something can make all the difference.

Find Sites Linking To More Than One Competitor

To  ensure  consistently high  quality,  business owners and digital marketers need to adopt a long-term content strategy that boosts a website’s search engine ranking and keeps it there. Good content plays a crucial role here. A  301  redirect means  that  the move is permanent. If you need to change the URL of a page as it is shown in search engine results, then you should use a server-side 301 redirect. Search  engine  optimization is  a  sure way to boost your site rankings on search engines if you know exactly how to go about it. You are sure to benefit from taking the advice in this article. Each tip has been tested by those who have succeeded in reaching the rankings they were shooting for. SEO,  that  is ethical  and  organic, takes serious time. Anyone that claims otherwise is just looking to take your money and run. While  you  can’t always  control  who links to you, successful SEO often includes promotion and outreach. This includes reaching out to other sites, influencers, and bloggers in your industry to check out your content and hopefully share or link to it.

Generalized or broad keywords or short tail keywords

Writing  is  hard enough  when  you have to write 500 word blog posts. Now imagine writing in-depth articles and guides that stretch to 5,000+ words on a consistent basis. Whenever  doing  a website  redesign,  I think it’s so important to reassess the purpose of each page. If you don’t learn anything from the page, neither will your viewers! Building out a navigation map that takes SEO into consideration will save you a lot of heartache throughout your project! Now,  keyword  stuffing or  having  specific phrases on the site is not enough to get your site ranked on the popular search engines. And, it’s also of no use to get links from irrelevant sites.  Local search success can be achieved by SEO.  Adding  proof  terms to  your  content helps a page appear at the top of search engine rankings, provided all other factors and criteria are met. Titles  display  what your  page  is about to both visitors and search engine crawlers, while meta descriptions summarize the content of...Read More

If  a  person goes  looking  for a company or product by name, Google will steer them towards what they’re looking for. Old-school  SEO  focused on  keywords.  New-school SEO focuses on high click-through rates, “long clicks”, freshness, and amplification...which are all signals that users are successfully finding the answers they’re looking for in your content. On  page optimization is  very  essential to gain visibility in the search results as without optimizing your on page factors, you won’t be found in the Search Engines. A  good  resource is  more  than just a long-form 1500 word blog post. It deep dives into topics and can stretch on for pages, combining data and insight that your audience would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Take  a  moment to  consider  some of the most popular websites you already have links going to on your own website. Is it possible for you to post content on any of these? You could be building Back Links leading from those popular websites that hundreds of thousands or even millions of other people regularly use.

How to diagnose technical SEO issues

While  changing  the URL  and  metadata for your content isn’t exactly using social to win at SEO, to us it’s all the same process. That’s because within our CMS we’ve created tools that set up SEO right from the Entry Editor — before the content is even published. Think  of  new ideas  to  expand your content, or even to invest in evergreen content, and make sure you think like a reader, rather than a search engine. Keywords  should  appear in  important  on-page elements like the page title, heading, image alt text, and naturally throughout the page copy, but you should still be sure to craft each of these items for humans, not search engines As  recommendations  from peers  become  more prominent online, the influence they levy will weigh more heavily into activity on search and social sites combined. For this reason, it’s wise to start thinking of your company or organization’s fans as extensions of your inbound marketing team. A  page  that’s no  longer  working can affect your site’s rankings in search engines, but also user experience and the engagement.

www vs non-www for SEO

think  one of  the  great SEO myths is every site should have a blog. I have seen sites invest in filling passionless blogs with content to feed the SEO machine. Submitting  a  sitemap to  search  engines reflecting any updates will certainly aid your cause. According to Google, a sitemap is “ a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.” Don’t put off submitting your sitemap! The  convergence  of SEO  and  content has been a driving force in marketing for the past few years.  Most SEO consultants are looking to build backlinks.  My  suggestion  would...Read More

Analysing The Data with Analytics
Posted by basic0908

One  question  that often  arises  in regards to HTML tags and linking is whether or not internal links should be “nofollowed.” “Rel=’nofollow’” instructs Google to not allow PageRank to flow through the link. Competitor  analysis  is nothing  new,  and companies have been researching their competitor’s links for years. However, by looking at the competitor’s backlinks and manually reviewing which links are worth having, you can then perform a link outreach and try to get a link from the same referring site. While  developing  your mobile  site,  you’ll have three options: responsive design, dynamic serving and a separate site on a subdomain. Google prefers responsive design. This way, you have one site that adapts to the device it’s used on. While  your  content marketing  should  be crafted carefully to meet SEO requirements, such as by including keywords, the success and popularity of your actual content will be the real force behind the rise of your web page in the search rankings. A  strong  linking structure  and other internal SEO best practices can provide that.

Social shares play a huge role in content trustfulness

If  you  want your  content  to stand out from the glut of online content and attract the kind of shares and links that boost search rankings, you’ve got to create epic content or “10X Content”. Most of the content that ranks in the top 10 of Google is over 2000 words in length, so you need to create long-form content. SEO  doesn’t  have to  be  hard or require an expert team to get results. If you’ve got a process and a structure, you can rank your content in search engines quite quickly. A  so-called  website blocker  is  something that prevents search engines from accessing the site The  Internet, or World  Wide  Web as it was once known, really is a kind of web. Websites feature links that lead to other websites, featuring yet more links leading to still more websites, and so on. Becoming a memorable part of that web will take lots of work and involve creating many links to other parts of the web, just like other websites do. Google  has  been focused  on  semantic search and now uses something called Latent-Semantic Indexing (LSI) in its core Hummingbird engine.

Build backlinks

Artificial  intelligence  will become  more  ubiquitous, so SEO specialists must grasp firsthand knowledge on machine learning and automation. Keyword  stemming  is a  process,  in which you would be modifying certain keywords before making use of them for your site, or articles. This would actually increase your chances of getting more hits on your website. Sometimes,  your  site will  need  some downtime, so you can fix things or update plugins. Most of the time, this tends to be a relatively short period in which Google will most likely not attempt to crawl your website.  How do site changes effect SEO?  While  you  should not  hide  your heading tag in an image, you should still give search engines more opportunities to link to...Read More

A Few Reasons Why Algorithms Sometimes Fail
Posted by basic0908

As  I  mentioned, SEO  is  a long-term strategy. You won’t see results in the first week, and probably not even in the first month. Google  has  built a  giant  database of hundreds of trillions of webpageswhich its algorithm then analyzes and ranks. It does this by sending out scores of digital robots, or “spiders,” which visit page after page. They “click on” the links on each page to see where they lead. As  you’ve  probably identified  at  this point, SEO is incredibly detailed. But, it doesn’t need to be complicated. As search engines like Google continually improve and try to show the best results they can to users, their focus is to provide quality and relevant results. t.  If  there was  one  thing that we could get across to those unfamiliar with SEO, it’s that it takes time. You should expect at a minimum a few months to 6 months before you see any noticeable results. That length of time grows even longer if you have a new site, little authority, and a small amount of content. A  focus  on the  formatting  of your page can facilitate the crawling for search engines, while it also enhances the readability for your readers.

Providing value earlier in the consumer buying process

Keyword  research  is the  process  SEOs use to find what search queries consumers enter into a search engine for a given topic. You will find that there are a number of different ways to do keyword research, but there is no single “right” way. It will vary based on your industry, budget, and goals. If  you  were to  build  a house and the foundation was in terrible condition, you’d have a lot of issues, regardless of how nice you decorated the interior. The same is true for SEO. You need to have a great foundation on your website. It’s  clear  that there  is  a link between the websites which rank highly for a certain keyword and whether or not that keyword appears in its URL. However, this is unlikely to be the only factor that determines whether or not a site can rank well. A  lot  of people  and  businesses will pour money into a professional website only to find out that visitors won’t magically begin appearing on their site. Know  where  and how  to  use keywords in your content for maximum searchability.

Websites which are not yet indexed by Google

Link  Building  is an  indisputable  part of the Search Engine Optimization process. Connecting a website to the rest of the Internet without links isn’t impossible, considering the fact there are many different content creation companies willing to do the work for you. However, the costs for this kind of work can ramp up quickly, making Link Building through a third party too costly for most new websites. Dynamic  serving  takes a  different approach. It uses server-side technology to serve a different version of your site to mobile users, depending on the way they access your site....Read More

Clearly  define  your objectives  in  advance so you can truly measure your ROI from any programs you implement. If  your  motive was  only  to cross link your website and that is why you have created websites, do not forget that search engines are smart. They will get to know that and will penalize you for the same. If your site is cross linked with no outside links, then you might be punished by Google. Authority  relates  to the  link profile of any site. But not just the number of links. That bears little importance. You  should  not only  use  social networks to acquire potential new customers, generate leads and build brand awareness, but also keep in mind the SEO benefits of having a brand presence on social networks. Many  beginner  bloggers and  webmasters  think that they need to churn out lots of content on a regular basis. But the truth is that quality will always trump quantity.

SEO Errors and How to Remedy Them

Your  website  URL should  generally  be related to/contain your keywords. The domain name keywords are a very important ranking signal for Google, so take advantage of it if you can. *Note that this ranking factor has been made less powerful over the past couple of years, specifically for EMDs (exact match domains where only exact keywords are in the domain name). A  comprehensive  keyword research  enables  you to discover which words work in your line of field and attract the most attention. It also provides you with opportunities to create new content or improvise your previous posts by including relevant keywords. Writing  for  your customers  is  the key to success. Do your thorough keyword research and create articles and content that is optimized for SEO, and something your readers would love to read. Use keyword research tools to select an appropriate list of keywords that would work well for your content. Don't  forget  that search/internet  marketing  is multi-faceted. Traditional Marketing 101 teachers would say to build a comprehensive plan for marketing. Don't just work the online factors, but create a sound strategy around offline marketing, using ideas like postcards, trade magazines ads, phone/sales work, word of mouth and additional tactics that can help create a "buzz" around your products and services. Think  of  new ideas  to  expand your content, or even to invest in evergreen content, and make sure you think like a reader, rather than a search engine.

Do not duplicate meta descriptions

One  of  the most  time-consuming  parts about link-building is actually finding places that will give you links. Google  has  worked to  smash  black-hat and spam-based link-building practices, penalizing link wheels, exchanges and paid links. In 2012 the Penguin update ushered in the link building reality we experience today. With it only natural link accumulation will gain your website & webpages authority. Search  engines  are not  impressed by a vast vocabulary; they want you to be consistent throughout the article. Industry-relevant  links  are often  the  easiest links for small...Read More

The  search  engines now  identify  low quality content through user engagement, and by correlating website features. Networks of sites where you can place this kind of content are even easier for them to identify. As a marketer, the primary warning sign should be sites where you can post your content with no editorial oversight from the website owner. You  should  aim to  have  the target search keyword within one of the HTML headers in your content (e.g. H2, H3, etc.). “Link  building”  is a  term  that SEO practitioners use to describe the process of building credibility. The idea is simple: people link to your website when they perceive your brand as a source of authority. Visual  content  has become  very  popular on the internet due to our own ability to process an image faster than any written text. This wins the first impression and it can be very powerful within the context of a page. Part  of  the reason  data  and research work well as cornerstone content is because they’re versatile. You can repurpose your original research into all the other types of content.

Show don't Tell

While  search engine bots  are  scanning websites for indexing purposes, they also look for links to other websites. The more high-quality inbound links the website has, the greater its link authority. In theory, every inbound link counts as a positive recommendation for a website. However, it is not the quantity of inbound links that plays the biggest role for search engines; it’s quality. Each  year  more than  2.8  trillion search queries are made on Google alone. This means that Google answers more than 88,700 searches worldwide per second.i In other words: Every second that your website is not indexed on Google, you miss out on hundreds, if not thousands, of opportunities in which someone might have accessed your website, viewed your content, and bought your product or services. When  they  are indexing websites,  the  search engines’ bots scan every one of a site’s URLs and look for the starting points of the topics that are covered. They also browse the HTML code for metadata such as particular tags or markups, so that they can determine the relevance of individual pages to particular subjects. If  it’s  been just  a  day or two since you made your website and are not appearing on the SERPs, then you might consider submitting your URL to Google (If you haven’t already done). If you still don’t appear on the SERPs, relax! Google takes some time to crawl and index your website. Off-page  SEO  factors are  as  important as on-page SEO factors. To have a successful SEO optimisation, both should be done. Earlier it was still easy to rank by building spammy links but, after the penguin and panda updates, its much difficult.

User-generated  content  (UGC) sites  and  communities are two of my favourite places to find untapped keywords. Social  platform  optimization -  Your linkeraiti and my linkeraiti are two entirely separate groups that find content on two entirely different platforms. Whether it's Twitter, LinkedIn, or a niche news site (ex., you need to find the right place that gets your content in front of the right people. At  its  core, SEO  is  about user intent. Search engines, like Google, want to provide users with results that are relevant to their queries and offer the utmost value. Therefore, it’s no surprise that the best and most relevant pages are given higher positions on a search engine results page. Before  designing  a website,  or  even if your site is already designed, you should analyze the site’s structure. Each topic or area should have its own distinct section and flow logically so users don’t get lost, disoriented and frustrated. You need to analyze how your website is being viewed. Long  Tail  Keywords are  long  and very specific keyword phrases that the customer generally uses when he is nearing his purchase stage. Trying to rank for very broad keywords like ‘furniture’, ‘online shopping’ is a very difficult task. In fact if you know how to optimize long tail keywords, you can get good rankings on SERPs. They are less competitive to optimize for.

Anchor text is still a huge ranking signal

when  writing  for the  internet,  break up your paragraphs as often as possible. Lots of white space makes reading text on mobile phones a heck of a lot easier (more than half of most websites’ traffic comes from mobile), and clearly formatted articles are used as a Google ranking signal. Write  “linkbait”  articles that  will  attract the attention of social networks. These articles can be valuable resources, controversial, or humorous. To  many users the  personalization  of search results is helpful and convenient, but an increasing number of users are disturbed by the extent to which the sites they encounter are being shaped by forces outside of their control. A  sitemap  is a  file  that tells exactly how crawlers should crawl your website. For example, if there is a page that does not get linked to your website but you still want the crawler to crawl it then you would simply include it in your sitemap file to tell the crawlers that there is something important there. The  correct  order of  keywords  will generally rank better as compared to the same keyword phrase in a different order.

The first indication should be hosting location

White  hat,  grey hat,  and  black hat are terms used to describe the type of SEO tactics used. White hat SEOs follow the guidelines of Google and other search engines. While  you  should not  hide  your heading tag in an image, you should still give search engines more opportunities to link to your website by adding keywords in the image alt text and file name. If  a  site links  to  you using the ’nofollow’ meta tag then their website’s authority won’t be passed to you. Some publishers automatically nofollow all external links, which is bad practice. Nofollow links should be reserved for sponsored or paid for links and content you don’t necessarily trust but still want to use as an example. Post  regularly  and build  the  trust of your users with content marketing. Over  the  past 10  years,  search has gotten a whole lot better. If you’ve been in the industry long enough, you remember the days of keyword stung articles and link building. Take  a  look at  which  sites are currently winning the front page for the phrase you are hoping to win. Then, go ahead and link to a few of them within your own content. It can be within the body of the text, or you can include a few links at the bottom with a “More on This Subject” type of call to action (CTA). It may seem like this could lead eyes to a direct competitor, but don’t be afraid to break the mold and link to them anyway.

Canonical URLs in the Wild

Meta  description  tags can  influence  click-throughs but aren't directly used for rankings. Search  has  penetrated the  very  fabric of global society. The way people work, play, shop, research, and interact has changed forever. Organizations of all kinds (businesses and charities), as well as individuals, need to have a presence on the Web—and they need the search engines to bring them traffic. Everyone  is  familiar with  the  expression “content is king.” Without rich content, you will find it difficult to achieve good rankings with specific keywords and to direct traffic to your website. Where  appropriate,  you should  add  localization. This is extremely important to businesses who offer products and services to a specific geographic region. In  most  cases, it's  not  the technical issues themselves that are hurting your SEO efforts, but the results that are caused by the errors they create.

Crawling and Indexing

The  days  of buying,  selling,  and trading links for rankings is long gone…and if you try to bring it back, you will be long gone as well. Quality  and visibility. This  is  truly the great secret to SEO and content. To  offer  the best  possible  results, search engines must attempt to discover all the public pages on the World Wide Web and then present the ones that best match up with the user’s search query. Keyword  research  is absolutely  critical  to help you understand where your content can earn both short- and long-term wins while making your content more competitive in search engines. Stop  words  are the  small  words in your SEO phrase, such as up, with, is, a, etc. While it’s widely accepted as a best practice to remove these from your SEO phrase, sometimes removing them can actually hurt your SEO. For example, “What is a graco taco?” makes a lot more sense than “what graco taco.” So while many SEO plugins and search experts will advise you to remove stop words, sometimes it’s best to leave them in if they drastically impact the meaning of the phrase. Be your own judge. Google  won’t  penalise duplicate  content.  Instead it will decide which version of the duplicate post should appear in search results and ignore the other. A  headline  is usually  the  first thing we notice when accessing a search engine, and this reminds us that a headline should be: valuable, relevant, simple and appealing. It’s  important  to keep  in  mind that if search engine traffic is your only goal, your results will probably suffer.

Add your target keyword to your title page

Hopefully  your  website is  laid  out in a way that allows users to easily find the content or pages that you want to promote. Some  of  the pages  on your website might not be linked to any other page. These are referred to as “orphaned pages,” and if a bot finds such a page, it is forced to abort the crawl since bots can only move from link to link. Consumer  behavior  has rapidly  matured  with the growth of the online world. Customers access the internet through a variety of different platforms and channels. Two thirds of shoppers report using more than one channel when deciding to make a purchase. Standard  engagement  behaviours on  SERP  results, such as click-throughs and time on page, can be an indicator of freshness and relevance. As  smart  and sophisticated  as  search engines have become, they still understand one thing above all else: content. Content is unique, original material you create and publish on your site.

Discover the connection between content and user experience

The  ability  to measure  the  success of your SEO efforts is crucial. Tracking and managing your website’s data can be done through Google Analytics and Google Search Console. There’s  no  need to  spend  more time on the optimisation if your content is not appealing enough for your audience. Create Long & Statistics Based Content

Just by increasing your search ranking and where your website places on Google doesn’t mean you’re going to get all of a sudden get that flood of traffic that you want. Trends adjusts search  data  to make comparisons between terms easier. Each data point is divided by the total searches of the geography and time range it represents, to compare relative popularity. Your target keywords should be in the H1 tag. Your H1 however can be different from the title tag. It doesn’t have to be – you won’t be penalised for having the same title tag and h1 tag for a web-page (after all, most CMS generate this automatically) – but varying the keyword phrasing of both can increase your chances of appearing for different search intents. Make sure every page of your site contains at least several hundred words of helpful, well-written, relevant content; and optimize all your title tags and meta descriptions while you're at it.

Industry Content Analysis

Who wants to get a 404 page after clicking on a link? Broken links make for bad usability. Not only that, search engines consider a large number of broken links as a signal of an old, neglected site and this can impact your SEO ranking. If a site,  or  specific page, has a lot of backlinks pointing to it, Google then sees this page or site as credible. This is only true, though, if those backlinks are coming from quality, reputable sources, and it’s even better when those sites are relevant to your site. Your URL’s should include your main keywords, but make sure you keep them short and friendly. Try to limit the number of characters as much as possible. While meta descriptions are not strictly a ranking signal, a good meta description can vastly improve click-through rate, so make sure you use it wisely!

Aligning Your Content

Through its Panda, Penguin, and Hummingbird updates, Google’s making it even harder for site owners and bloggers to get quality incoming links. Google has reduced  the  importance of keyword phrases and now places more importance on a variety of elements, appropriately called “on-page factors.” If your meta description is a duplicate, the user experience in Google will be less. Although page titles might vary, all pages seem the same as all descriptions are equal. The safest way to ensure there are no duplicate content problems is to use a rel=canonical tag on the republished article. This will tell Google that the linked article is the original and therefore should be indexed, and any ranking benefits will be passed through.

Create Long & Statistics Based Content

The page title and URL are two of only a small number of elements that are present for a user to view within the search engine results page. It’s fair to say that they have a huge impact on click-through rate from the SERPs. At a bare minimum, include social sharing buttons on your content. Search drives the...Read More

Stick to Your Plan

Blog comments are a great way to promote content, diversify anchor text and build out a natural link profile. You already know that a considerable amount of Internet traffic these days comes from mobile operating systems. Other best practices that we have in SEO are things where we will take a keyword and will essentially just make our keyword research very limited to the ones that have produced high returns. The days of buying, selling, and trading links for rankings is long gone…and if you try to bring it back, you will be long gone as well.

Stick to Your Plan

Higher rankings in the first few results are critical to visibility. For brands that can’t afford a full-service SEO agency, the mention of the word “link building” is enough to make them flinch. Search engines are invested in providing users a great mobile experience. Content is king when it comes to SEO. You can’t have an SEO campaign without content; it’s the fuel that makes SEO work.

Make sure that you supply what you promise to the visitors

As time goes on, technology will make it easier and easier to interpret the meaning behind a search query. This will lead to SEOs being able to generate content and offer advice that caters to a much more specific audience and satisfies their needs more completely. Recognizing intent will allow you to improve keyword selection decisions and better serve your target audience. I am the last one to tell a website owner that his job is to become the local SEO or usability expert. That would be unrealistic. Why should a constructor learn SEO? He should not. A picture can be worth a thousand words, they say. Well, when it comes to online marketing, a single image can be worth a thousand links!

Implement responsive design

Google’s robots, or “spiders,” crawl the Internet by “clicking” one link after another after another. They discover new pages and websites as part of that crawl, and store the content of each of those pages in a giant database. To be sure, stealing and republishing someone else’s content without their permission is a terrible practice, and doing this frequently is an obvious sign of a spammy, low-quality website. Search engines simply want to deliver the most relevant results to their users based on search queries. Gaz Hall , an SEO Expert from the UK, said: "The click through rate (CTR) of a page is determined by the number of people that click on your result in the SERPs. If your snippet is very appealing to a user, or appears in a higher position, people are more inclined to click on it."

The Broken Link-Building Method

Which version is more relevant?

Google’s SEO Starter Guide states that, “If your URL contains relevant words, this provides users and search engines with more information about the page than an ID or oddly named parameter would.” In other words, including keywords – or at least clear and direct information – in your URL is a best practice. Besides looking for established companies and Internet presences to learn from, you can also pick up some good tips and quick information from up and coming companies that are suddenly doing well in the rankings. Keyword research is still useful when trying to decide on the most interesting topics for your audience. Keywords can still be part of your content, provided that they are added in context and at the right balance. There’s no need to sacrifice the quality of your content to include more keywords, as keyword stuffing can lead to the opposite of the result you want. When deciding which keywords to go after, you could also use a tool, but simply googling your keywords will also give you insight into the difficulty to rank for a certain search term.

Discover the connection between content and user experience

Search engines often reward you for updating old content. But remember, you only get a reward for actually making the content more relevant! The prospect of Google penalties strikes fear into the hearts of most webmasters -- or at least the ones who don’t fully understand them. If you can’t budget for 6 to 12 months of SEO, you might be better off putting that budget somewhere else. In today’s SEO world, search engines often evaluate content to determine the search rankings of a website. It is a common misconception that content marketing doesn’t work as well for e-commerce websites.

Measuring Content Quality and User Engagement

Every business needs a marketing strategy and so does a website. The best strategy to market any website is through SEO management. SEO is a long-term strategy, so it sometimes takes months before you start seeing results. Don’t let ego fuel your obsession with keyword rankings. And remember that your personal search experience is not necessarily what your prospective customers see. This fact isn’t new: if your website loads slowly, a large portion of visitors will quickly leave.

Content Resources

If a search engine makes a page request that isn’t served within the bot’s time limit (or that produces a server timeout response), your pages may not make it into the index at all, and will almost certainly rank very poorly (as no indexable text content has been found). The length of your posts is also an important consideration. Back in the days of spammy-SEO, almost every post was 500 words long. Today, you’ll have the most success by writing posts that are longer and more in-depth. Imagine that your reader is going to sit down with a cup of tea and really dive deep into the subject – that’s the kind...Read More
A quality blog improves your Google ranking
Posted by basic0908
But the blogging holy grail is just this: A quality blog improves your Google ranking, which will draw leads to your website and encourage them to make purchases. Gone are the days when you have to mention exact keyword phrases a specific number of times at a certain frequency. Because people have shorter attention spans, keep the most important information in heading tags so they can scan and see if they want to delve deeper into the post. We know that we need links because the value is there – direct and indirect – and every study or research piece published about SEO says that links are still important.

Find Sites Linking To More Than One Competitor

As visual content becomes more and more prominent, it cannot be left out of SEO. Luckily it’s not time-consuming to optimise your images. One of the main ways to increase SEO traffic is to experiment with the meta title and meta description you have on your page. Flexing this can increase your clickthrough rate from the search engine results page, and can affect what keywords you rank for. Build a unique contact page for each location that you operate and mark up your location information in The meta description is not a ranking factor, but it does play an important part in optimizing your Click Through Rate (CTR).

Identify (and include) commonly searched keywords

Besides voice search and Google’s focus on that, more is changing in and for Google. Specifically: a few new technologies and a profound new way of looking at the web. Make it easier for search engines to index your website. A sitemap is a file that tells exactly how crawlers should crawl your website. For example, if there is a page that does not get linked to your website but you still want the crawler to crawl it then you would simply include it in your sitemap file to tell the crawlers that there is something important there. Your website is one of your most important pieces of digital equity, and one of the fundamental components of a successful local marketing stack.

Optimize all content through SEO best practices

Record any results that appear to be effective, and re-test them on other domains or with other terms. If several tests consistently return the same results, chances are you’ve discovered a pattern that is used by the search engines. Producing content for search engines is also content marketing, list building, and relationship marketing. With content being king, SEO may as well be queen. They both play an integral role in getting your message out and building your following. Gaz Hall , an SEO Expert from the UK, said: "Keyword research is an entire sub-discipline within SEO and it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole."

Build on the trust of existing content

Search engine optimization is a strategy that is fairly easy to implement...Read More
The best domain names are short and snappy
Posted by basic0908
The best domain names are short, snappy,  include your best keywords, easy to remember, and easy to spell. Including keywords in your domain name will be useful for sites like Bing in particular that place great emphasis on including keywords. If your site uses a lot of imagery, consider adding a Pin It button to allow Pinterest users to easily add images to their boards. For sites with lots of high-quality product, inspirational or instructional images, Pinterest can be a major driver of traffic - especially given that every Pin and Repin of your image includes a link back to your site. I do not think Google title and H1 tags need to exactly be the same. They need to serve the same objective not to confuse the audience of that website, but they need not be identical. Search Engine Optimization is a very hot topic on the World Wide Web. After-all, everybody wants to rank higher and come up on the first page of Google search and get more traffic.

Think of ways to stand out from the crowd

Backlinks from older websites may be worth more than links from newer sites. While you want your sentences and paragraphs to be short, your overall content can be as long as you fancy – in-depth content is a big indicator of quality. Just typing in an incomplete search term will result in a whole lot of unnecessary results which might not be what you are looking for. The ability to measure the success of your SEO efforts is crucial. Tracking and managing your website’s data can be done through Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Thin content issues might negatively impact SERP visibility

An organic search strategy that involves a dedicated consumer focused approach is highly recommended. This entails total brand presence and not just keywords, understanding customer behavior, consumption preferences, needs and conversion paths. Google pays attention to third-party expert testimonials from independent sources – reviews, references, news articles. Recommendations from professional societies, are strong evidence of very positive reputation. When you’re spending good money on SEO, it’s common to obsess over your keyword rankings. It’s not that keyword text doesn’t matter, but starting with a focused content strategy will help you identify audiences and topics that should guide your keyword selection.

When it comes to website traffic, more is not always better

Much of the time, it makes sense for the search engines to deliver results from older sources that have stood the test of time. However, sometimes the response should be from newer sources of information. The sheer apparent complexity of SEO is enough to turn some people away entirely. Rest assured that real SEO has nothing to do with keyword stuffing, keyword density, hacks, tricks or cunning techniques. If you hear any of these terms from your SEO advisor, run away from them as quickly as you can. According to SEO Consultant , Gaz...Read More
Google is getting smarter – to the point of becoming an AI

Google is getting smarter – to the point of becoming an AI with a LOT of personal information about its uses. Google is increasingly understanding what content actually means, rather than just what it says You should not try to‘trick’ Google. Take an aspect of your niche that people find difficult and create the most comprehensive tutorial there is on the subject. If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results? Content quality, content amount, and website information are all factors in your Page Quality Rating.

Thin content issues might negatively impact SERP visibility

The link structure of the Web serves to bind together all of the pages that have been made public as a result of someone linking to them. Through links, search engines’ automated robots, called crawlers or spiders, can reach the many billions of interconnected documents. Like titles, search engines typically give headings a higher priority. Clear headings that describe the content that follows make it easier for search engines to detect the major themes of your site. A company may be able to identify thousands of keywords worth optimizing—but do they have a big enough SEO budget to handle that workload? If you are still basing your SEO strategy around keywords you should probably start to think a little bit deeper around user intent.

Determining the goal for the site

A natural link profile has variety. The links come from different domains and links will have different strengths. The more your website gets passed around between users all over the country (or even the world), the more popular search engines will start to take notice of your website, and the higher up it will generally appear in rankings and results. Whenever possible, avoid changing URL structures. The easiest way to prevent broken redirects is to avoid creating the redirects in the first place. Content that empathizes with prospective customers’ emotions can guide them through their journey as a buyer.

Create link-worthy content

On the web, sole traders can in theory compete with the corporate big boys, so being able to be found – and found easily – among those searches is essential for any firm If you purport to be an expert site, then you’d better make sure you have experts writing for you. Even if you’re site is an entertainment site or fashion blog. The newest result isn’t always best – for less newsworthy topics, an in-depth and authoritative result that’s been around longer may outrank newer, thinner content. We asked an SEO Specialist , Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "The sites that Google will rank highest for a particular search term...Read More
